Les nominés aux Eisner Awards 2007

Le Comic-Con International de San Diego qui se tiendra en juillet prochain récompensera les meilleures publications sorties en 2006. La BD française est représentée.

La 38e édition du Comic-Con International aura lieu du 26 au 29 juillet 2007 à San Diego, aux Etats-Unis. Avec 29 catégories représentées (histoires courtes, one-shot, séries longues, anthologies, rééditions, prix du dessin, prix du lettrage, etc), ce salon remet chaque année les trophées des meilleurs comics. Aucun auteur ou titre ne domine vraiment cette année, si ce n’est les quatre nominations d’Ed Brubaker (« Captain America », « Daredevil) , de « Bill Willingham » (« Fables », « Jack of Fables ») et les trois du dessinateur Bob Burden (« Gumby »). A noter aussi cette année, plus de femmes parmi les nominés et plus de mangas. Parmi les auteurs français, on retrouve Lewis Trondheim (meilleure oeuvre étrangère, meilleur scénariste/dessinateur d’humour), Olivier Coipel (meilleure histoire courte), Joann Sfar (meilleur scénariste/dessinateur) et Nicolas de Crécy (meilleur peintre/artiste multimédia).

L’an dernier, Joann Sfar avait reçu le prix du meilleur album étranger pour « The Rabbi’s Cat » (« le Chat du Rabbin »). Un prix de prestige avait également été décerné à Jean-Claude Mézières, invité d’honneur du festival, pour l’ensemble de son œuvre.
